Nitish-Kejriwal’s meeting is also important because the Congress had invited Nitish to the swearing-in ceremony of the government in Karnataka on May 20, but did not invite Kejriwal. Nitish is meeting leaders of various parties to bring the opposition parties on a single platform before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Congress-AAP tussle can create difficulties in this exercise.
