The name of the victim is Asim Hussain. He says that 8 to 10 people who boarded the general bogie of the train from Hapur manhandled him. Asked to raise slogans of Jai Shri Ram. For not raising slogans, they were made to take off their clothes and then thrashed them with a belt.
Asim Hussain said that he was thrashed all the way in the train. When the train slowed down at Moradabad Outer, a passenger saved it from the accused and pushed it down. Moradabad GRP SP Aparna Gupta said that an FIR has been registered on the victim’s application. the matter is being investigated.

Asim Hussain, the victim of the incident, is a resident of Mohalla Peerzada near Noor Masjid in Katghar police station area in Moradabad. Asim has a job of scrap. According to Asim, on Thursday night he boarded the Padmavat Express from Delhi to Moradabad. Everything was fine till Hapur, but as soon as the train reached Hapur, the boys who boarded from there created a whole scene.

Asim said in the complaint given to GRP, “I left Padmavat Express on the night of January 12 from Delhi to Moradabad in general coach. On the way the train stopped at Hapur railway station. Then 8-10 people boarded the same general coach of Padmavat Express in which I traveled from Delhi. As soon as the train started, they started pushing and shoving me. They came near me and pulled my beard. They started saying..thieves. You are also a thief. Saying this, they started kicking and punching me badly. And raised slogans of Jai Shree Ram.
When I did not raise slogans, they took off all my clothes and also took away Rs 2,200 kept with me. After that they started beating him with a leather belt. I tried hard to save myself, sought help from the people in the compartment, but no one came forward to help. Those people beat me and made me half-dead. These people wanted to take me with them to kill me, but a co-traveller took pity on me. He pushed me in an unconscious state outside the station and threw me off the train.”

SP GRP said – two boys were caught, were challaned for breach of peace
SP GRP Aparna Gupta said that the GRP escort running in Padmavat Express reached the concerned bogie on Thursday night after getting information about the fight in the train. The victim was not found in the bogie. He had landed in Moradabad. On the basis of information received from the rest of the passengers, two boys accused of assaulting the moving train were taken into custody. One’s name is Suraj. He was a resident of Pratapgarh. The other’s name is Satish. He is a resident of Rae Bareli. When the train reached Bareilly Junction, the GRP escort handed over both of them to the Bareilly GRP police station. However, till then no victim had come forward. No FIR was also received. In such a situation, both were challaned from Bareilly GRP for breach of peace. Both have been released on bail.

SP told that on Friday night the victim reached Moradabad GRP police station and gave a complaint. On the basis of which the case has been registered. The accused will be arrested again. On refusal, he became aggressive. After this there was a dispute.
