Why this news is important: This visit of PM Modi is very important regarding the trade relations between the two countries. Trade between India and the US has reached a record $130 billion today. America has become India’s largest trading partner. Bilateral trade between the two countries to grow by 7.65% to $128 billion in 2022-23. 2. Engines of our fighter planes will be made in India only, agreement between GE and HAL
America’s GE Aerospace and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) have signed an agreement to manufacture F414 engines for fighter planes. Under this, now the engines of Indian fighter planes will be made in India only. Earlier GE used to supply them.
Why this news is important: So far in the whole world only four countries America, Russia, England and France make engines for fighter jets. GE company can now give the job of making engines to HAL. 3. Meeting for opposition unity regarding Lok Sabha elections 2024 today, 15 opposition parties will participate

4. Flood in 20 districts of Assam, more than 1 lakh people affected; 11 people died in Bengal-Bihar

On the other hand, 108 villages have been completely submerged due to floods in 20 districts of Assam. 1 lakh 20 thousand people have been affected by this. Maximum 45 thousand people have been affected by the flood in Nalbari district. At the same time, 11 people have died due to lightning in West Bengal and Bihar.
Why this news is important: The total area of Assam is 78,438 sq km, but 40 per cent of it remains vulnerable to floods. 5. Indian coach snatches football from Pakistani player, referee shows red card

Shiv turned artist died due to snake bite, friends fled leaving the dead body in the hospital
