Amid rising cases of corona, epidemiologists of the country say that this time the infection looks very weak. It is not able to make the patient ill for more than two days. According to that, it is less fatal than normal viral fever. Even its symptoms are not visible in 95% of the patients. Fever is common in 5% of the patients who are falling ill, which lasts only for a day or two. But, people who already have a serious illness, they need to be very cautious these days.

No new wave threat: Experts
Experts say that now there is no danger like a new wave. Because, the infection is spreading due to the sub-variant of Omicron itself. The special thing is that the corona is undoubtedly spreading rapidly, but the number of patients admitted to the hospital has not increased yet. There is no such apprehension in future also.

The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has also said that the cases of corona are increasing but people should not panic. IMA said that we have controlled the virus earlier also, with the help of you people we will do it now. IMA has advised people to maintain hygiene.

484 new cases surfaced in Delhi, 3 deaths
On Monday, 484 new corona cases were reported in Delhi and 3 people died. There, the active cases stand at 2338 and the positivity rate stands at 26.58%. There were 1821 corona tests in Delhi on Monday.

Delhi Health Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj has said that the health department is on high alert amid rising cases of Covid. All preparations have been done and 98% beds in hospitals are vacant.

New corona cases halved in Maharashtra
On Monday, 328 new corona cases were reported in Maharashtra and one person died. On Sunday, 788 corona patients were found in the state. Currently, there are 4,667 active cases in the state.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has made it mandatory to wear masks in all the hospitals under it. All the patients, their relatives and all the staff coming to these hospitals will have to wear masks. BMC has asked people above 60 years of age to wear masks in crowded areas.

Dr. Vivek Nangia, a respiratory disease expert at Max Hospital in Delhi, says that now the power to fight the epidemic has become very strong in the population. Some things are clear. First- only 1 out of 10 patients are showing fever or other symptoms. Because, the antibodies present in most people are killing the virus. The immunity that comes from infection is called herd immunity. It is in 90% of the population.

Similarly, hybrid immunity has been developed from the vaccine. Second- even if there is an effect of the virus, the symptoms like fever, cough, body ache are not able to last for more than two days. The maximum benefit is being received from herd immunity. It is dealing with the virus in a much better way than what comes from the vaccine. That is, patients may increase in the coming days, but the severity of the disease will not increase.
