New Delhi: Zeeshan Quadri is a writer, director, actor and producer who rose to fame with his role in the film ‘Gangs of Wasseypur 2’. Since then he made ‘Meeruthiya Gangsters’, ‘Halahal’ and other films. Zeeshan will next be seen in ‘Bloody Daddy’ alongside Shahid Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ankur Bhatia and Vivaan Bhatena.

Talking about his role in ‘Bloody Daddy’, he shared, “I play a negative character in ‘Bloody Daddy’. It’s very different from the characters I’ve played before and it’s a role that made me Gave me a chance to explore myself. As an actor.”

Elaborating on his working experience, Zeeshan said, “It is always wonderful to work with an experienced director like Ali Abbas Zafar and I thank Ali and Himanshu Kishan Mehra enough for trusting me for this role. Can’t thank you enough. It was a huge cast. And there was no scope for workshops before shooting. There was no time to get comfortable with the entire cast and crew, which usually happens during workshops.”

Talking about her shooting experience, she said, “But when I reached the set everyone made me very comfortable, I broke the ice with Shahid as well. When the film started there was not enough time for workshops. I met Shahid straight away on the shoot. It was great fun. Between the Delhi and Abu Dhabi schedules it became a running joke that Zeeshan would come with a lot of questions. I was known to ask Shahid a lot of questions, not necessarily that it related to the film, but even simple things like his thoughts on the industry. Overall looking back I can just say the whole experience was a lot of fun.”
