According to court documents, Zayn Malik has pleaded no match for harassment allegations against his supermodel girlfriend Gigi Hadid and his celebrity mother Yolanda Hadid earlier this month. It was alleged that the former One Direction singer became violent last month during an argument at the family home in Philadelphia. According to court documents, Zayn was charged with holding Yolanda and jerking and cursing her against a dresser. The documents also show that the musician used abusive language, including calling Yolanda a “f—Dutch slut”.
Documents filed in Bucks County say the 28-year-old musician allegedly asked Gigi to “defend her partner against her mother in her home.” According to citations filed in a magisterial district court in Pennsylvania, Zayn Malik also tried to fight a man, whom TMZ identified as a security guard.
In September he was charged with four counts of harassment. According to reports, he filed a petition on Wednesday.
Malik and Hadid also have a one-year-old daughter. In a statement to a news portal, Zayn Malik said, “I refuse to kill Yolanda Hadid. For the sake of my daughter, I refuse to provide further information.”
Zain, however, addressed the allegations in an official statement, which he released on Twitter. He said he wanted to “protect” himself and Gigi’s 13-month-old daughter, Khai. Zayn went on to write that he wanted to protect his family’s privacy and wrote that he did not want “private family matters” to be shared with the public, including “my argument with a family member of my partner”.
