Zareen Khan Says Salman Khan Is ‘Friend’ But She ‘Can’t Be The Monkey On His Back And Troubles Him’

It has been more than a decade since Zareen Khan made her Bollywood debut with Veer. Even though the film failed to create magic at the box office despite the presence of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, it opened some doors for Zareen. The actress happily gives all the credit to Salman as he was the one who launched her in the film industry. Zareen said in a new interview after saying that she can’t hold back from him forever.

“I am thankful to Salman because if it was not for him, I would never have entered the industry. He gave me entry in the industry. But my struggle started after being a part of the industry because I didn’t know anything then. Salman is a wonderful person, but at the same time he is also a busy man. I can’t have a monkey on his back and bother him for small things,” she told Hindustan Times.

Zareen further said that a lot of people still think that whatever work they get is through Salman Khan. “And that is not true. Salman is a friend and just a phone call away but I am not bothering him. And it undermines the struggle, hard work I put in,” she said.
