Yuvan Shankar Raja not afraid to create background score for Ajith’s Valimai?

The makers of Ajith starrer Valimai have been forced to postpone the film’s theatrical release in the last few weeks in view of the spurt in Covid cases. The film was scheduled to hit the theaters on January 13, 2022. The Valimai team had big plans for the release of the film. Reports say that he also turned down an offer of Rs 300 crore from a leading OTT platform exclusively for a digital release.

The makers are looking forward to a theatrical release for Valimai so that Ajith’s fans can see his idol on the big screen.

Meanwhile, according to a report in Filmibeat, the film’s directors and producers, H Vinoth and Boney Kapoor, were not happy with Valimai’s background music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

He initially asked her to come up with a new version. However, for unknown reasons, the producers chose Ghibran to compose the background score. Ghibran has previously worked with H. Vinoth in the film Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru.

Valimai tells the story of Arjun, an IPS officer who sets out on a mission to hunt down illegal bikers involved in theft and murder. The film has a stellar starcast of Ajith, Huma Qureshi and Kartikeya Gummakonda.

The trailer of the film promised a power-packed action thriller with high-octane action sequences and scintillating dialogues. He was appreciated by fans considering the high amount of exposure to shoot the stunt sequences. He expressed happiness by dancing and singing in front of the posters of Ajith. They even went to bathe their posters with milk.
