YouTube video streaming in low quality? How to Change Video Quality on Phone and PC

The video watching experience on YouTube is primarily determined by the quality in which your video is buffering, which in turn depends on how fast and stable your internet line is. Especially on smartphones, YouTube largely offers four categories of video quality. By default, it is set to Auto which, as the name suggests, analyzes your Internet speed in realtime and changes the video quality accordingly to minimize buffering pauses. There’s an option to watch videos in 720p resolution, an option to go Full HD and beyond, and there’s also a data saver option, which downgrades the video quality (around 240p) to save data. While you can leave it on auto, chances are you’ll want to manually select a high quality streaming option, and that’s how you can do it.
