The Pakistan cricket community is in shock with Virat Kohli’s sudden decision to step down as Test captain. The 33-year-old tweeted on Saturday that he was stepping down as Test captain after India lost another Test series in South Africa. India lost the series 1–2 where they were defeated in the second and third test matches by a margin of seven wickets each. Kohli went on to become India’s most successful captain with 40 wins in 68 Tests since taking over the reins of the team in 2014, when MS Dhoni stepped down in the middle of the series against Australia.
