Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Mohsin Khan, Shivangi Joshi to Quit the Show in October?

One of the longest running television shows, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai lead actors Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi will be leaving the show in the near future. While Mohsin plays Kartik, Shivangi plays Naira and the onscreen chemistry of the two has been well received by the audience. The audience is very fond of their pair and they are affectionately known as ‘Kayra’. As several reports suggested that the makers are planning to bring a leap in the show, Mohsin and Shivangi will opt out as they do not want to play old roles.

A source close to the production team told Spotboye that the famous couple will be exiting the show in October and new faces will be introduced. The portal has quoted him as saying, “Shivangi and Mohsin will be out of the show by the first week of October and newcomers will join in.” The source also revealed that the makers want to start a new story and hence, it has been decided to include new faces as a lot of experimentation has already been done with the existing characters.
