Yasser Usman’s Biography On Rekha Makes Explosive Claims On Veteran Actress’s Relationship With Her Secretary

New Delhi: Renowned Bollywood actress and evergreen beauty Rekha remains an enigma for many even today. Her path-breaking performances, powerful roles and interesting lives have been noticed and loved by all audiences. Writer Yasser Usman’s biography ‘Rekha: The Untold Story’ (2016) is in news recently as it reveals alleged secrets about the actress including her personal life.

According to her biography, Rekha: The Untold Story, no one is allowed in Rekha’s bedroom except her secretary. Excerpts from her biography read, “Farzana is an ideal companion for Rekha. She is her advisor, her friend and her supporter, and Rekha cannot live without her. In fact, only Rekha’s trusted secretary Farzana – whom some have claimed is her girlfriend – is allowed inside her bedroom; not even the domestic help is allowed entry.”

The book mentions, “Farzana exercises control over Rekha’s life and visitors to the household and keeps a close watch on her. She is a formidable gatekeeper and is said to scrutinize every phone call and choreograph almost every minute of Rekha’s life. Rekha has shrouded herself in mystery and secrecy – and it is Farzana who makes such a clandestine existence possible for her,” the book noted.

Rekha had earlier called Farzana her ‘soul sister’ in one of her interviews to TOI.

Rekha is known for her iconic characters in films. He started his acting career at the age of 14 with the film ‘Anjana Safar’ in the year 1969. After that, Rekha steadily climbed to the top. He is currently considered one of the most charming and captivating actors in Indian cinema.

Rekha received the Padma Shri award in the year 2010 for her contribution to Indian cinema over the years.

The actress was married to Mukesh Aggarwal, a Delhi-based industrialist and television producer. The two tied the knot in 1990 but their marriage could not last more than seven months as Agarwal died by suicide while Rekha was in London.
