New Delhi: Bollywood diva Yami Gautam, who not only mesmerizes the audience with her acting skills but also suffers from skin problems with her smoldering good looks. The ‘Bhoot Police’ actress recently opened up about her skin condition Keratosis- Pilaris in her latest social media post.
Yami Gautam posted some unedited pictures of herself on Instagram and wrote a long note sharing details about her skin condition. Keratosis-pilaris is a skin condition that causes dry, rough patches and small bumps on the skin. These often develop on the upper arms, thighs or cheeks.
Yami Gautam shared a note, which read, “Hello my Insta family, I recently shot for some images and when they were about to go for post-production (a normal process) so that called Keratosis- Pilaris To hide my skin condition. Thought, ‘Hey Yami, why don’t you just accept this fact and accept it well enough to be okay with it. Just let it be… (Yeah, I myself talk out loud). Your brain and your neighbor aunt tell it) I developed this skin condition during my teens, and it still has no cure.”
The ‘Daasvi’ actress further added, “I have dealt with it for many years now and today finally, I decided to let go of all my fears and insecurities and have the courage to love and accept my ‘flaws’ with all my heart. I found the courage to share my truth with you, too. Oh! I didn’t feel like airbrushing my folliculitis or ‘shaping up’ that ‘under-eye’ or that waistline! And yet, I I feel beautiful”.
Meanwhile, speaking on the work front, Yami Gautam will next be seen in ‘Daasvi’, ‘A Thursday’, ‘Lost’ and ‘OMG – Oh My God 2’.
