All praises deserve for Yami Gautam Dasvi

The social comedy-drama, Dasvi, premiered on OTT platform Netflix last week and opened to praise from audiences and critics alike. In the movie, Abhishek Bacchan Played the role of a Haryanvi politician, while Yami Gautam played the role of a police officer. Director Tushar Jalota has earlier revealed that the actress was his first and only choice for the role. Now, he justifies that he deserves all the praise.

Director Tushar Jalota said, “Jyoti is a head strong, brave, no-nonsense and a fearless woman. She is razor focused and very sharp. She has steely powers, she is furious and just brutal!! And Yami played it. !t. When we were casting for this role in Dasvi, I could not imagine anyone other than Yami Gautam playing the role of Jyoti Deswal. She is someone who is totally absorbed in her character And prepares thoroughly for it; whether it’s looking for a role or mentally getting into the top spot of the character.”

She further added, “Besides all the preparation, she also worked hard on her Haryanvi dialect and pronunciation and for a moment you forgot that it was Yami on screen because you could only see a strong, confident, no-nonsense female inspector Jyoti Deswal. Jyoti has a practiced rigor, that is her declared intention, but she has softer qualities (humility, humility, empathy). Yami has done it all with such dignity and nobility. She is definitely a great team player Thi, a supporter for me and I believe it is the mark of a brilliant actor and Yami deserves all the accolades that come for her performance in the film.”

After impressing us with her performance in Dasvi, the actress has an exciting slate to do with Anirudh Roy Chowdhury’s Lost, OMG2. Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi, Dhoom Dham and Maddock Films’ Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga.
