Yamaha India has launched the 2022 Yamaha MT-15 V2.0 with two new colors – Cyan Storm and Racing Blue in the Indian market for Rs 1,59,900 (ex-showroom). Yamaha India has been introducing new color schemes and aesthetic updates to its India line-up since early 2022 to keep its customers engaged.
The 2022 Yamaha MT-15 will be equipped with a set of 37mm USD front forks that will have a golden finish that looks very premium. The new aluminum swingarm has replaced the older box-section swingarm, but the delta-box frame remains in place. Apart from retaining the streetfighter-like styling of the previous variant, the new model gets some minor stylistic updates.
The MT-15 also gets a new LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity via Yamaha’s Y-Connect app that enables smartphone notifications (text, call, email, phone battery) on the instrument display. Also available are parking spaces, fuel economy tips and more through Yamaha’s Y-Connect app.

Yamaha MT-15 V2.0 is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) producing 18.4 PS of power and 14.1 Nm of torque and mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox. A slip and assist clutch.
The Yamaha MT-15 comes with two new paint options – Cyan Storm and Racing Blue – while Ice Fluo-Vermillion and Metallic Black are still available.
