Color Filters are primarily designed to help gamers with color blindness or color vision deficits play some of the previously inaccessible video games.
All Xbox consoles will now have additional options like “mute speaker audio when headset is attached” and there’s also a new audio test and description screen.
According to Microsoft, “The volume and audio output settings have been reorganized to make the relevant settings easier to access and help you optimize your audio experience. To get started, go to Settings > Audio Test & Details. You can check what your audio setup supports and reset if necessary.”
With the new firmware update, Xbox one wireless controller, xbox elite wireless Controller Series 2, and Xbox Adaptive Controllers will get features previously only available on Xbox Series X|S controllers. Microsoft claims that the update will make for better cross-device connectivity and lower latency.
The November update also brings several improvements to reduce console shutdowns and improve the stability of xbox series x console while playing games like NBA 2K22, FIFA 22 and Battlefield 2042.
The company also announced that xbox cloud gaming (beta) Game Pass Ultimate for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One has started rolling out for those with subscriptions
