WWE SmackDown Results: Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar hint at reunion with Paul Heyman

As wheelchair-bound Sami Zayn debuted on the show, he was still battling the brutal assault by Brock Lesnar in last week’s episode. He said the betrayal hurt him more than the physical part of it. Paul Heyman interrupted and apologized to fans for subjecting him to Zayn’s complaints. As the two continued their pranks, Lesnar came into the ring to tease that Heyman might be on the verge of returning as their lawyer. His passionate rant gives way to The Beast beating up the male nurses, then Zayn concludes with an F-5.

With WWE building to the Day 1 pay-per-view, Raw Tag Team Champions Randy Orton and Riddle took on The Usos and The New Day’s King Woods and Kofi Kingston in a blockbuster triple threat tag match. In another hotly anticipated fight, Naomi and Sonya Deville once again exchanged animosity on Friday night, so did SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Tony Storm.

Here are the results and highlights of the December 10 episode of WWE SmackDown:

Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Booges vs Los Lotharios: The match ended a minute and a half early when Booges gave Humberto an airplane spin, while Intercontinental Champion Nakamura shooed him away with a kick to the face and Kinshasa.

Drew McIntyre vs Sheamus: After Claymore, the Scottish Superstar defeated Sheamus by pinfall. Before the match, McIntyre confronted Adam Pierce and glued Angela to his desk in response to his exit from the Black Friday battle royal two weeks earlier.

Naomi vs Sonya Deville and Xia Li Debut: In the show’s first female fight, Devil was set to face Naomi in one-on-one action, but instead faced Natalya and Shayna Baszler. As the trio tried to gang-up with Naomi before the match, Xia Lee not only made her debut, but also helped Naomi drive away The Devil, Natalya, and Baszler.

Tony Storm vs Charlotte Flair: In a special Championship Contenders match, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair was disqualified as she could not stop attacking Storm on the ring apron.

Triple Threat Tag Team Match – The New Day vs The Usos & RK-Bro: The Triple Threat match to determine the best tag team in WWE culminated via pinfall, when Kofi Kingston hit Jimmy Uso with a stomp in the main event.
