Cyber cell team is investigating these social accounts. The identity of the woman has not been revealed at this time.

The matter first came to the fore on January 1. The accused had edited the photographs of several Muslim women and put them for auction on the ‘Bully by App’ on the GitHub platform. In this, those women were targeted, who were active on social issues. These include some women journalists, activists and lawyers.
FIR was registered in Mumbai
After this, a case has been registered in this case at West Mumbai Cyber Police Station on Sunday against unknown accused under various sections of IT Act and IPC. In this FIR, the Mumbai Police has filed IPC sections 153-A (promoting discrimination between two communities on religious grounds), 153-B (deliberately trying to hurt religious feelings), 354-D (pursuing), 509 ( Using words or behavior intended to outrage the dignity of a woman) and 500 (criminal defamation). In addition, section 67 of the IT Act (publishing or sending objectionable material in electronic form) has also been included.
Police asked for developer’s information
Delhi Police on Monday morning sought information from the GitHub platform regarding the developer of the dodgy application. At the same time, Twitter has been asked to block and remove related content on its platform. The police have also sought information from Twitter about the account handler who first tweeted about the app.
