Thiruvananthapuram: A 28 year old Woman, which allegedly administered Poison She herself died on Wednesday night after consuming her three children and then poisoning.
The victim has been identified as Sreeja Kumari of Kunnumkal near Kuttimood under Venjarammood police station.
Police said their eldest daughter (9) was in critical care, while younger children aged seven and three were out of danger. According to police, Sreeja consumed rat poison on Wednesday afternoon. He has also accused of giving poison to children by mixing them with poison.
Venjaramood Station House Officer Inspector V Saiju Nath said, “After vomiting and fainting, his mother took him to a hospital in Attingal.”
He said that the family and the police are unaware of the reason behind Sreeja’s actions. She told that she used to work as a saleswoman in a garment shop in Venjaramamudu and had an affair with a man after separating from her husband.
