A 36-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide at her home here after an argument with her tailor husband over not sewing a blouse as per her choice, police said on Sunday. He said the woman was found hanging at his house on Saturday.
A police officer attached to Amberpet police said that the woman allegedly quarreled with her husband, as he did not like stitching blouses for him and after an argument with him, he got hurt and resorted to the extreme step. the station said.
Police said the woman went inside a room and locked its door from inside and later forcibly opened the door. No suicide note was found. Case was registered.
