Nadal reaches the quarter-finals of Wimbledon

22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal is a prime example of how your body can challenge the ages if it is treated with proper care and discipline. Nadal, who is a 22-time Grand Slam champion, reached his 8th Wimbledon quarterfinal, which is also his first since 2019. -4, 6-2, 7-6 (6) in the men’s singles fourth round match.

Nadal will now take on America’s Taylor Fritz in the last eight rounds. The Spanish giant has a golden run after winning the Australian Open in January and beating the mighty Swiss Novak Djokovic at the French Open. Nadal is in a league of his own right now as he has taken his Grand Slam tally to 22 and 2 ahead of the Serb and Roger Federer, who are tied in 20 Grand Slams.

Rafael Nadal is now eyeing a calendar slam win and his dream deserves to be realized as he looks to lock horns against 11th seed Taylor Fritz of USA in the quarterfinals this weekend. The 22-time Grand Slam champion was having a good time against Boutique van de Zandschulp, but he had some nervous moments in the final set of the third set. Nadal took a break for the second time in the match as he served in the third set for a 5-3 win.

Nadal further acknowledged the victory and said, “It is amazing for me to reach the quarter-finals of Wimbledon after three years without playing here,” Nadal said. “So very, very happy.” It’s been a good match in layman’s terms against a difficult player. I think he’s a very good player.”
