Oscars 2022: A video shows Bradley Cooper and Denzel Washington comforting Will Smith after he slapped Chris Rock for joking about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith at the Academy Awards.
Will Smith stunned everyone after he slapped comedian Chris Rock at the Oscars 2022 on Sunday night. Will takes to the stage and slaps Chris for joking about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith at the 94th Academy Awards. Now, seconds after the incident, a video of the award ceremony has surfaced on social media.
In a video shared by Scott Feinberg of The Hollywood Reporter, Will Smith is consulting with his PR rep during the commercial break for the Oscars, in what appeared to be an unreported feud between him and Chris Rock.

Bradley Cooper was also seen chatting with Will Smith after the controversy.
The shocking moment came at Sunday’s Oscars ceremony when Chris Rock joked about Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, before presenting the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature. The Rock suggested that Pinkett Smith was getting ready to film the sequel to GI Jane—which seemed to be a reference to the actress’s shaved head. (Pinkett Smith has been open about her hair loss due to alopecia.)
