Will Sachin Pilot join BJP? party leader claims

The speculation of Congress leader Sachin Pilot joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is once again gaining momentum. Describing Pilot as a “good leader”, BJP national vice-president AP Abdullakutty on Sunday said he thinks the former deputy chief minister of Rajasthan will join the saffron party in future.

Initially, rumors of Pilot joining the BJP arose when he and his loyalist legislators revolted against Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot last year. However, the pilot dismissed these speculations.

“Sachin Pilot is a good leader and I think he will join BJP in future,” Abdullakutty told reporters.

Recently, Congress leaders and AICC General Secretary Ajay Maken discussed the much awaited cabinet reshuffle in Rajasthan.

Demands for cabinet expansion and political appointments gained momentum in Rajasthan after reports of displeasure in the Pilot-led camp.

Last month, Pilot had indicated that the Congress would soon take suitable steps to address the issues raised by him.

Abdullakutty also claimed that some people are falsely propagating that BJP is against Muslims.

“It is a lie that the BJP is against Muslims.

Our honorable RSS chief has clearly said that Muslims and Hindus are one and their DNA is also one.

He said that BJP is a party which takes everyone along and this is its principle.
