Fans of pan-India actor Prabhas have one complaint: his favorite celebrity is often absent from social media circles.
Prabhas joined social media in 2019 and rarely posts personal updates there. Apart from details of his upcoming projects and shoots, he often sends birthday wishes to co-stars. Fans are now waiting for the reserve star to come off the bench. However, the actor’s recent move on social media has taken some by surprise.
Prabhas said that he will no longer use social media for anything other than film updates. The actor said that he does not use social media and his Facebook account was created by the Baahubali crew, while his Instagram account was created by the creators of Radhe Shyam.
Prabhas recently opened up about the criticism he has received for his Hindi language in a media encounter. When asked about his fluency in Hindi, Prabhas said that his main issue is that he has Hyderabadi flavor in Hindi. “I have worked very hard on my language. I can read and write in Hindi. I want Hindi dialogue. I don’t like to read them in English, because pronunciation gets affected,” Prabhas said.
Meanwhile, he is touring the country to promote his next film Radhe Shyam, in which he co-stars with Pooja Hegde. He portrays Vikramaditya, a palmist who can predict the future and glimpse into the past.
Hegde plays Prerna, the leading lady of the period romance. The film’s trailers look interesting, and the makers even made a teaser on Metaverse, an augmented reality virtual network. Krishnam Raju and Bhagyashree play pivotal roles in the film, which is slated to release on March 11.
