Leo is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
As per the latest reports, a source close to Joju George revealed that the actor will not be a part of Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo.
The shooting of Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film Leo is progressing at a fast pace. The team has wrapped up the Kashmir schedule and moved to Chennai for the next schedule. The makers aim to complete the shoot of the film by May and have a theatrical release on 19 October. Earlier, Malayalam actor Joju George was speculated to play the part of Leo.
Now, as per the latest reports, a source close to Joju George revealed that the actor will not be a part of the action entertainer. Reportedly, Joju George is busy shooting for other projects and will not be on board for Leo. In fact, the official Twitter handle of Friday Matinee also wrote about the same, “News reports today stating #JojuGeorge is part of #Leo, which is incorrect at this point of time as per sources close to the actor.”

Earlier, there were also reports that actor Dhanush has been roped in to play a cameo in Leo. If reports are to be believed, the actor will be shooting at Prasad Labs Chennai for 15 days. Rumors also say that Dhanush’s character will be similar to Suriya’s role in Vikram as a Rolex.
Not only Dhanush but it is also expected that Suriya and Kamal Haasan will also be on board for cameo appearances. It is also suspected that Fahadh Faasil and Karthi from Rolex and Vikram in Leo may also make cameos in their character roles.
Leo’s crew will head to Hyderabad to shoot the climax sequence at Ramoji Film City. Apart from Vijay, Trisha is also in the female lead in the film. Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Menon, Arjun Sarja, Meskin, Mansoor Ali Khan and others will be seen in pivotal roles.
Leo is said to be a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe aka LCU, which includes Kaithi and Vikram. The plot is still under the wraps. Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the film’s music.
