The Congress leader said that within two hours of his arrival back home, when his jet lag would not have gone away, an Australian university announced that it would not allow admission to Indian students from five states.

Soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi was given a warm welcome on his return from a three-nation tour, the Congress on Thursday said it would be standing at the airport to welcome the prime minister when the government brings back fugitive criminals Nirav Modi and Lalit. Modi.

“We will also give a grand welcome (to the prime minister), but only on the condition that another Modi is brought back,” he said. If the government brings Lalit Modi or Nirav Modi back to India, we will also stand at the Delhi airport and give a grand welcome.

He was asked to comment on Modi’s warm reception at the airport after his tour of Japan, Papua New Guinea and Australia. Khera, however, cited reports and claimed that soon after Modi returned home, an Australian university announced a ban on the entry of Indian students from five states.

On Modi’s achievements, the Congress leader said that within two hours of his arrival back home, when his jet lag would not have gone, an Australian university announced that it would not allow admission to Indian students from five states.

Is this the achievement of the Prime Minister? He would not have even reached home from the airport when this news came. The Prime Minister of India represents India whenever he goes abroad. Its first and primary responsibility is to protect India’s interests, even if it garners accolades and does big shows for itself.

“What steps have you taken on the ban on students from five Indian states in Australia and when will there be a discussion on the future of Indian students at risk? It is very bitter answer in diplomacy when students are banned soon after you come back.

Khera said Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also visited the protest site and spent some time with the wrestlers.

“So are our other leaders and many concerned citizens trying to reach out to the wrestlers. The Prime Minister… is less than four-five kilometers away. Smriti Irani, all these ministers live about three to four kilometers away from Jantar Mantar. It is unfortunate that not a single minister was seen there.

“We have all seen the protests. When we were in power, there was sensitivity in the governments. You do not see even an iota of sensitivity in this government or in anyone in this government. Not even in the Sports Minister,” the Congress leader said.
