In an interview, when Ashok Saraf was asked why he always kept the first two buttons of his shirt unbuttoned, he said that he was uncomfortable acting and delivering dialogues if the shirt was buttoned up to the collar. Having the first two buttons allowed him to perform freely and that’s why he did it. However, people accepted it as a style statement and many people started following them.
Ashok Saraf recently made a comeback under the direction of actor Riteish Deshmukh in the romantic drama film Ved. The film starred Riteish alongside his wife Genelia D’Souza and has become the third highest grossing Marathi film of all time.
