Women at greater risk of side effects
A vaccine can trigger symptoms like corona infection which can be similar to the symptoms of covid. Given that COVID vaccines are copies of the original virus, it triggers immune responses that are activated by corona infection and resemble immune responses.

While reports suggest that women are at higher risk of vaccine side effects, this may be because they have a stronger and healthier immune system than men. Research also claims that women produce stronger antibodies than their male counterparts.
Some experts believe that women are more likely to report side effects than men because of their behavioral factors because women tend to be more vocal about their illnesses than men. According to experts, the estrogen hormone present in women usually enhances and affects the response of the immune system. Conversely, the testosterone hormone in men suppresses the immune system, which may be the main reason for women experiencing more side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine.
