It told member states that Pakistan has a policy of harboring, aiding and actively supporting terrorists.

The Indian diplomat said that Pakistan is an “arsonist”, disguising itself as a “firefighter”, the whole world has suffered because of its policies as the country nurtures terrorists in its backyard.

Dubey said this is not the first time that the leader of Pakistan has resorted to false and malicious propaganda against India.

The Indian representative to the United Nations said that these efforts are nothing but an attempt to divert global attention from the tragic situation in Pakistan, where terrorists are roaming freely.

The young Indian diplomat said that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were and will always be an integral and inseparable part of India, Pakistan must vacate all areas under its illegal occupation.

“This includes those areas which are under illegal occupation of Pakistan. We call upon Pakistan to immediately vacate all areas under its illegal occupation.

Dubey further said that minorities in Pakistan live in constant fear and added that this is a state-sponsored suppression of their rights.

The Indian diplomat said New Delhi wants normal relations with all its neighbours, including Pakistan.

However, Pakistan has to work sincerely towards creating a conducive environment, he added.

Who is Sneha Dubey?

Sneha Dubey is a 2012 batch Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer.

Dubey’s first appointment was in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) after getting selected in the IFS, clearing the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam in his first attempt in 2011.

She was India’s third secretary in Madrid before being posted to the United Nations in 2014.

Dubey, who aspired to join the IFS from a very young age, completed his education after obtaining his MPhil from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi.

Dubey, who is the first person in his family to work as a government employee, completed his schooling from Goa and went to Fergusson College, Pune for higher studies.

Her father works in a multinational company while her mother is a teacher.
