Aryan Khan denies any connection with Prabhakar Cell
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan moved the Bombay High Court last week after a special NDPS court denied him bail. Star Kid’s lawyers have filed a written reply in the High Court in response to an affidavit by the Narcotics Control Bureau and their ‘independent witness’ Prabhakar Cell. In the above submission, Aryan denied all connections with Prabhakar Cell, one of the nine witnesses named by the NCB in the ongoing drugs case in Mumbai. The affidavit states that there has been no settlement with the NCB officials on the part of Aryan Khan, adding that it is a matter between the politicians and the NCB.
The submission read, “I received the counter-affidavit from the Respondents today i.e. 26 October 2021 at around 12 noon. The allegations contained therein are denied on merits and my claim is not reiterated except that no recovery has been made from me.” And I haven’t taken any drugs since I visited the cruise terminal and there’s no evidence of that.”
Denying all the political allegations, submitted on behalf of Aryan Khan, “I have nothing to do with the allegations and counter allegations that are currently on public/social media against the Zonal Director, MZU, Mumbai and some political personalities.” are in between. I do. Don’t make any allegations against any person in the prosecution department.”
“I do not have any relation/concern with the said Shri (Prabhakar) Cell, the deponent or his alleged employer, Shri Gosavi, who is also an arbitrator, in an affidavit dated 23 October 2021 filed in these proceedings,” it further said. Subsequently, Aryan Khan “praised that his bail application should be decided on merits unaffected by the claims/allegations of SAIL or NCB.”
The independent witness, Prabhakar Cell, claims to be the personal bodyguard of alleged private investigator KP Gosavi, whose selfie with Aryan went viral. In the affidavit of SAIL, NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede has been accused. SAIL has claimed in the affidavit that Wankhede and independent witnesses in the case were trying to extort extortion from the accused.
Meanwhile, an affidavit was filed in the bail plea by Aryan Khan, which is being heard by single-judge Justice Nitin Sambre of the Bombay High Court.
