His political involvement began in 2009 when he actively supported his elder brother’s Praja Rajyam Party. In 2019, he shifted his focus to his younger brother’s Jana Sena Party and even ran as a candidate for the Narsapuram parliamentary seat, although he was not successful in the election. Following his electoral defeat, he has continued to engage with the local community in his Lok Sabha constituency, working to strengthen the position of the Jana Sena party in preparation for the upcoming 2024 general elections.
Currently, Naga Babu has redirected his focus towards movies, television shows, and web series. He managed to regain some lost ground as a producer through successful programs like Jabardasth. Nonetheless, being recognized as the brother of Mega Brother has played a significant role in his career. The family is also buzzing with excitement as his son, Varun Tej, is soon to be married to actress Lavanya Tripathi, welcoming a new daughter-in-law into their household.
