Nidhi and Shikhar met while studying B-Tech in Biotechnology course in Haryana. After graduation, Shikhar decided to continue his studies and obtained MTech from the Institute of Life Sciences in Hyderabad. He eventually got a lucrative job as Principal Scientist at Biocon. Nidhi, on the other hand, has also embarked on a successful career in the corporate world and earns an impressive salary of Rs 30 lakh per annum.

Both Nidhi and Shikhar were at the peak of their careers at that time. They had almost everything from high paying salaries to comfortable lifestyle. Despite this, the couple sensed something was wrong and felt they should start something of their own. Thus began the journey of Food Venture Samosa Singh.

Initially, he used his own savings to start Samosa Singh in 2015 in Bengaluru. Gradually, his efforts paid off and he needed a bigger kitchen to complete his work. To accomplish this, he needed a bigger kitchen and was thus forced to sell his dream apartment for Rs 80 lakh. This would have broken his morale for some time but he courageously went ahead and took a factory on rent in Bangalore as well. It was rented out with the proceeds being used to continue building their business. His willingness to embrace uncertainty and sacrifice countless dreams has ultimately led him to the pinnacle of the food industry. The phenomenal success of Nidhi and Shikar is driven by their innovative approach to samosas, introducing flavors like butter chicken and kadai paneer.
