NCT DREAM member Na Jaemin recently admitted to an incident when he was caught sneaking burgers and left the agency.
Na Jaemin, one of the seven members of the popular South Korean boy and NCT DREAM recently shared an interesting story, revealing how he once left SM Entertainment over nothing but a ‘hamburger’. In a recent interview on Yoo Jae Suk’s YouTube channel, the NCT DREAM members including Mark, Jaemin and Haechan were seen recounting stories from the time before their debut as idols under SM Entertainment. They also spoke on other matters regarding the future.
During this while, Jaemin opened up about his trainee life and revealed how he was caught sneaking burgers, due to which he “packed up, left, and went back a few times.” As Jae Suk began by asking Jaemin about his experience with leaving SM, the idol admitted that he once left after getting into trouble over sneaking in a burger.
“I didn’t go back and forth because I wanted to leave, but I got caught ordering a hamburger, so I left for a while and went back in. There were such trivial things,” he said leaving others astonished.
His confession immediately went viral on social media with fans reflecting on the different situations that would have been if he had not returned to the company. A fan wrote, “We almost lost jaemin over a burger,” while another one commented, “Other ppl are like “omg i can’t believe we almost lost *BLANK* to academia or law school” or whatever i can’t believe we almost lost na jaemin to a hamburger.”
A section of fans were also seen lashing out at the agency for starving the members. One shared the clip of his confession and wrote, “This is crazy im sorry how is it normal to starve a 12 year old.”

Mark and Haechan recall fighting the most as trainees
During the conversation, the other two members Mark and Haechan were also seen revealing how they used to fight the most as trainees. Recalling one such scenario, Mark said, “The other day, we were riding a car together and I admired the sky, saying, ‘The sky is so pretty.’ But he, Haechan responded, ‘What does that have to do with us?’ so I was shocked.”
Notably, this comes at a time when the NCT DREAM is currently scheduled to release its much-awaited comeback on 25 March and is quite busy with its promotions.
