In 2018, Siddharth Sagar had mysteriously gone missing for a few months and came out in open at a press conference about his family problems and his experience with substance abuse. He told the media that his case was handled very poorly at the rehabilitation center and he was assaulted and treated for diseases he did not have.
He also opened up about being ill-treated by his own mother. Reportedly, his mother and his mother’s boyfriend Suyash Gadgil used to mix some drugs in his food, which caused him to develop bipolar disorder. After pushing him into depression and drug addiction, his mother reportedly admitted him to a rehabilitation centre.
However, his ordeal did not end there. Her mother and her lover allegedly evicted her from their own bungalow and sold it for Rs 80 lakh without her knowledge. Siddharth even alleged that he was beaten up by goons and his manager saved him.
He also had an association with spiritualism, which was opposed by his family. He revealed that he was broken when his Guruji attained Samadhi.
As per some media reports, currently Siddharth has reconciled with his mother and is once again living with her.
