Whatsapp Latest Update: Meta-owned instant messaging application WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new in-app banner to announce the ability to share documents of up to 2GB in size. It is planned to be released in future updates of the app.

As per reports, WhatsApp is working on a new in-app banner that lets you browse through your documents. A new banner will announce that it is possible to share documents and files up to 2GB in size. In related news, WhatsApp is also rolling out longer group subjects and descriptions, making it easier to describe groups better. The change is the number of characters you can type when entering a group subject and description, according to a screenshot shared by WABetaInfo. Group subject has been increased from 25 characters to 100 characters.

This gives group administrators more freedom when naming their groups, making it easier to identify the group’s purpose. In addition, the Meta-owned messaging application is expanding the group description from 512 characters to 2048 characters.

The report states that this update gives group administrators more space to add important details and information about the group, making it easier for all group participants to understand the purpose of the group, especially when it Belongs to a community.
