WhatsApp Rolling Out New Text Editor On Android Beta

New Delhi: Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is rolling out a new text editor experience for some beta testers on the Android beta. According to a WABetaInfo report, beta testers can now edit photos, videos and GIFs in a text editor.

Beta users can change the background color of the text, making it easier for them to separate important text from the rest.

Some new fonts including Calistoga, Courier Prime, Damian, Exo 2 and Morning Breeze have also been released to beta testers, the report added.

Meanwhile, last week, it was reported that the messaging platform was working on a new feature called “audio chats” that would be available within conversations in a future update to the application on Android.
