Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty shouted at her husband Raj Kundra and cried her eyes several times when he was brought to his house during a raid by the police. According to sources, the actress shouted at Raj Kundra on reaching his house for a search with Mumbai Police on Friday evening, “We have everything, what was the need to do all this.”
The crime branch recently raided the house of Shilpa and Raj, after which the Hungama 2 actress also wept after being questioned in the matter. She reportedly had such a big argument with Raj that the police team had to intervene between the couple to pacify the actress,” sources in Mumbai Police told ANI.
Police also took Shilpa Shetty’s statement as they searched the bungalow where the couple lives with their two children.Shilpa said that “the reputation of her family was ruined, her commercials in the industry were being canceled and she had to give up several projects”. According to sources, he also talked about financial loss with the police.
Police say that so far they have not found any evidence that Shilpa Shetty had any involvement in this case. Sources say that it is not established whether she knew about her husband’s operation of alleged porn films.
Raj Kundra, who is accused of creating and publishing obscene material, has been sent to 14 days judicial custody till August 10 along with his partner Ryan Thorpe, his lawyer Abad Ponda said on Tuesday. Kundra was produced before a Mumbai court, which rejected the prosecution’s plea to extend his police custody by another seven days.
