What to watch this weekend: Best movies, TV shows, Prime Video and more on Netflix

It’s weekend time and you don’t have to waste it taking risks anymore. We’ve curated the ingredients for your entire week so you see the best, and grab that popcorn from the tub! Here are your recommendations for the first week of February:

The Lost Daughter – Netflix

A powerful film focused on the lives of women that will not easily slip out of your mind. The film makes you think and is definitely the best pick of its genre. It shows how women are torn between career and home, children and personal needs, aspirations and desires. It shows you and you have to decide for yourself what you think is right or wrong. Strongly uncomfortable scenes, erratic plot twists and impulses are all portrayed to perfection. Although the buildup is not extreme, the film leaves you debating the lives of women and the expectations from both ends. Dakota Johnson, Jesse Buckley and Olivia Colman shine in the length and breadth of this Maggie Gyllenhaal directorial debut.

No Time To Die – Google Play

The latest in James Bond installment is a true action-packed Bond film made for all the cinema lovers. Daniel Craig shines in nerve gripping drama spanning continents and its explosive stunts. I won’t shy away from saying that Bond is as hot as ever in every scene. But this final twist for Daniel Craig, who is captivating us for the last time in this Bond series, has done justice and closed on a good note. You won’t complain even though the movie is long. More than anything, it has an emotional impact. Rami Malek and Lee Seydoux have small but impressive roles. Stack 3 pillows, Rs 150. Rent in the U.S. on Google Play and enjoy the longest Bond movie ever! the pleasure is all mine. Also the title song of Billie Eilish – My God!

Another Round – Amazon Prime

It’s been on prime for some time now – but that doesn’t mean it should be ignored. The Oscar-winning film examines the effects of alcohol, but not in a boring way. You’ll cherish the friendship of four high school teachers who decide to test the theory of drinking every day and the impact it has on their professional and personal lives. Mads Mikkelsen shines but so does the script. And if I could do that, the last shot of this film would deserve another Oscar. Watch it when it’s a Saturday evening. Some Cheese Balls and the kind of drinks on the round are totally your choice.

Succession – Hotstar

Succession, its three fun seasons, is the story of a media family – the Royce being portrayed in a way that is absolutely 100% fun to watch. Even in tense moments, it’s kind of funny to watch the crises and Kendall’s reaction, Roman’s way of thinking, and the way Shiva and the others move on with their lives. A Smash Hit! It’s addictive to the core. A shout out to the twins – Matthew McFadden and Nicolas Braun in supporting roles as well to keep the momentum going. Every character is in his own world and the world is amazing. thank you later And yes – as Logan Roy says – well never mind!

The Tinder Swindler – Netflix

It is horrifying and shocking. A documentary on the infamous Shimon Hyut, who is still at large after he cheated on several women falling in love – mainly via Tinder. A 7-country fraud of tens of millions of dollars, he still hasn’t been caught. The documentary revolves around three women who are tasked with robbing them of hundreds of dollars and spending them on air tickets and luxurious hotels around the world. Watch it to believe how far a lie can go and how far infatuation can go.

Ye Kaali Kaali Ankhein – Netflix

A good series to pass the time if you’ve seen everything else on this list. Though it is bloody at many places, but it makes Tahir Raj Bhasin shine everywhere. Pressure comes on you as well as disappointment. The object of desire, Vikrant, gets caught up in Purva’s blood and politics, who will go to any lengths to “get” her. And if you liked the series, you’ll be glad that it has a promised second season as well. A special mention is added of Arunoday Singh because it was a nice surprise to see him in the role of an assassin. Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
