As part of the film’s promotional activities, Ranbir recently connected with his dedicated fans through a Zoom call. During this interaction, he was asked about the possibility of reuniting with the Tamasha cast including Imtiaz Ali and Deepika Padukone. Ranbir shared, “I think it is a good idea. I should really bring it up. Unfortunately, what happened was that Imtiaz and I were so close because we were working so much with each other. Then what happens is that we go on different projects, and then those people become your circle of friends, and you start working a lot with them. So, I’ve really been out of touch with Imtiaz.”

The actor further acknowledged that while the film may not have been a commercial success upon release, it has since found its audience and deeply touched people’s lives. He stated, “Tamasha, when it’s released, it didn’t really do well commercially, but I think over the years it has really found its audience and a lot of people who have seen it and understand it now.” Ranbir Kapoor expressed his desire to reunite with team Tamasha, hoping that the entire crew, including director Imtiaz Ali, would join him for a future interview.
