All procedures along with verification for compassionate appointment, DRM approved
The Corona period has distanced loved ones from us. Many railway workers families have been affected by this. In such a situation, WREU had requested the DRM in the PNM meeting to expedite the process of compassionate appointment to provide immediate help to the victim’s family. The union told the DRM that generally the process of verifying the educational qualification of the candidate is lengthy and until it is not done the other process of appointment cannot proceed.
This will delay the grant of compassionate appointments due to death during the Corona period. Divisional Minister Dinesh Panchal had suggested to the DRM that along with the process of document verification, other process including the examination of appointment should also be completed so that there is no delay in the appointment. WREU Ahmedabad Joint Divisional Minister Sanjay Suryabali told that the DRM has accepted the union’s proposal. Now orders have been given to complete all the process of appointment on the condition of verification of documents. The benefit of this will be relief to the families suffering from Corona.
