West Indies will play three T20 matches in Pakistan in 2023

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Wednesday that the West Indies men’s cricket team will play three Twenty20 Internationals before the Pakistan Super League 2023.

The West Indies team is already scheduled to play an ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League ODI in June 2022 to make up for the postponed December 2021 matches due to the rising number of Covid-19 cases in their side.

Recently, the One Day International (ODI) series between West Indies and Pakistan, which was scheduled to begin in Karachi on 18 December, was postponed and rescheduled for early June 2022, as five of the visiting team’s And the members had tested COVID-19 positive.

A total of nine members of the visiting team had tested COVID positive since their arrival in Karachi on December 9.

The PCB and Cricket West Indies (CWI) then issued a joint statement, stating that the ODI series would be postponed and rescheduled for early June 2022.

The West Indies team made a comeback in Karachi last week after playing three T20 matches. Pakistan had a clean sweep in the series.
