Kolkata: Power Minister of West Bengal Arup Biswas He was admitted to the hospital on Saturday after testing positive for Covid-19, an official said.
He said Biswas, who had mild symptoms, tested positive for the infection and was admitted to a hospital in the southern part of Kolkata.
“He has mild symptoms and is being administered antibodies. His oxygen levels are being monitored, and it is not yet decided whether to send his samples for genome sequencing,” the official told PTI. ”
He said that the doctors of the hospital are keeping Biswas under strict surveillance.
