West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary education (WBCHSE) will release the Higher Secondary or HS result tomorrow, i.e. June 10. Students who appeared for the WB 12th exam can check their results on the official websites of WBCHSE – wbchse.nic.in, and wbresults.nic.in. , Students will have to enter their roll number and date of birth to check the results from 11 am onwards.

Around 7.45 lakh students appeared in the WBCHSE Class 12 exam this year. It was held from April 2 to April 26. Apart from the official websites, students will also be able to check their results through SMS and directly on News18.com by filling the form given below:

WBCHSE HS Result 2022: Know Passing Marks

To clear the exam, students need to score at least 33 percent marks in each subject and overall. They will also have to secure 20 percent marks in the practical exam. The minimum aggregate marks to pass the higher secondary exam is 272. Also, to get first class, candidates have to score at least 480 marks. Those who get more than 360 marks will be placed in second division and those who get more than 272 marks will be placed in third division.

Students unable to obtain the minimum qualifying marks will be allowed to appear in the supplementary examination. Those who fail in more than two subjects will have to repeat the year. Last year more than 10 lakh students had registered for the WBCHSE Class 12 exam. But the written exam was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the WBCHSE assessed the students through an alternative formula. All the students were declared pass.

Meanwhile, West Bengal Secondary Examination Result 2022 declared on 3rd June 86.60 percent students who took the exam passed, A total of 114 students have made it to the top 10 list. Arnab Gharai of Ramharipur Ramakrishna Mission High School in Bankura and Raunak Mandal of Burdwan CMS School are jointly on top. Both have got 693 marks. Kaushiki Sarkar of Malda and Raunak Mandal of West Midnapore stood second with 692 marks.
