West Bengal Board 10th Result 2022: Know WBBSE Madhyamik Result Timing and Date

West Bengal Secondary Board education (WBBSE) will declare the secondary or class 10 board exam results on Friday, June 3, it has informed. The result is likely to be declared at 9 am. Once declared, students will be able to check the result on the official website of the board at wbresults.nic.in and wbbse.wb.gov.in. To check the results students will need their admit card as it contains their application number.

The board had earlier said that evaluation of more than 90 per cent of Class 10 answer sheets has been completed. Over 11.18 lakh students had appeared for the secondary examination that was held between March 7 and 16. West Bengal 10th Board Result 2022: Passing Marks

Candidate Must have secured minimum 25% marks OR Grade C in each subject and overall to clear the WBBSE Madhyamik Exam. Those who fail to get passing marks in one or two subjects will get another chance to clear it. The board is expected to conduct the supplementary examination, the dates of which will be announced later. Students who fail in more than two subjects will have to repeat the year.

West Bengal 10th Board Result 2022: Pass percentage likely to drop

in 2021, out of 10.79 lakh students who had registered for class 10 board exam, all cleared up. The board has adopted a 50:50 approach last year to evaluate the students. For the calculation of final marks, 50 percent weightage was given to class 9 finalists and class 10 internals each. This was the first time that the board had recorded 100 per cent pass percentage. However, this year there may be a drop in the pass percentage as compared to last year as this time the secondary examination was conducted in the written format. The pass percentage in 2020 was 86.34 percent while in 2019 it was 88.87 percent. It was 85.49 percent in 2018 and 88.65 percent in 2017. In 2016, it was 85.4%.
