West Bengal: 100% pass in Madrasa exam in new evaluation system

The West Bengal Board of Madrasa Education on Friday declared the results of High Madrasa, Madhyamik, Alim and Fazil examinations. This year the pass percentage was 100%, which is a record. A total of 74,267 students took part in the evaluation, out of which 49,494 were girls.

As the examinations could not be conducted this year due to COVID-19 pandemicThe Board decided to evaluate the candidates on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the previous annual examinations. The board did not release the merit list this year.

The board said that the mark sheets and pass certificates will be distributed to the parents by the heads of the institutions following the COVID guidelines. Parents can collect the documents of their children by presenting the original registration certificate.

This year, the secondary (class 10) state board examinations also saw a pass percentage of 100 per cent.
