We will hunt down terrorists and their sympathizers: J&K LG on civilian killings India News – Times of India

Srinagar: Amidst huge crowd civilian killings, J and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday vowed to avenge every drop of blood by hunting down terrorists and their sympathizers.
Sinha said efforts are being made to hamper the peace and socio-economic progress of Jammu and Kashmir and the personal development of the people, and reiterated the commitment for the rapid development of the Union Territory.
In his monthly radio program ‘Awam Ki Awaaz’, Sinha said, “I pay heartfelt tributes to the martyred civilians and express my condolences to the bereaved families. We will hunt down terrorists, their sympathizers and every drop of blood of innocent civilians.” Will avenge it.”
The LG was referring to the killing of civilians, including minorities and non-local activists, by terrorists in the last 10 days in the Valley.
“We are committed to rapid development and will endeavor to build a prosperous and peaceful Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
The Lt Governor urged the people to remember the security personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
“Next month when we light the lamps of Diwali, let us light a lamp in the memory of the martyrs of the security forces who were snatched from us by the enemies of humanity prematurely,” he said.
Nine Army personnel have lost their lives in one of the deadliest counter-terrorist operations in Poonch district in recent times.
