New Delhi: Elon Musk, the 76-year-old father of Tesla and SpaceX owner, Elon Musk, has revealed that he had a secret second child three years ago with his 35-year-old stepdaughter Jana Bezuidenhout. According to the New York Post, Erol Musk admitted in an interview to a British tabloid that he welcomed a baby girl with Elon’s half-sister, Jana, in 2019. “The only thing we’re on Earth has to do is reproduce,” said the 76-year-old South African engineer.
The couple welcomed their first child, a boy, Elliot Rush in the year 2017.
Jana Bezuidenhout is the daughter of Errol’s second wife, Heide Bezuidenhout, whom he married in 1979 after separating from Elon’s mother, Maye Haldeman Musk. (Also read: Shares bounce after 4 days of fall; FMCG, auto stocks shine)
Errol and Heide have two biological children together, but they also helped raise Jana, who became her stepfather when she was just 4 years old. “It’s not practical. She’s 35, after all, if I’m still around, she can get back with me.” Errol added to his statement.
Jana’s first pregnancy with Errol’s child in 2017 shook Musk and led to a bitter standoff between Elon and his father. “They still don’t like it..they still feel a little creepy about it, because she’s their sister. Their half-sister.” Errol said when asked how her family reacted to the shocking pregnancy news.
As the New York Post reports, it was recently revealed that Elon had fathered two children with an executive at his artificial intelligence company Neuralink. The statement from the owner of SpaceX is still awaited for the shocking news.
