Virat Kohli seen arguing with fan
Virat Kohli He is known to be expressive whether on the field, engaging in heated arguments with the bowlers, or off the field. The latest incident is from the ongoing four-day warm-up match against Leicestershire. Taking a stand for Kamlesh Nagarkoti, Virat is seen clashing with a fan.
During the second day of the practice match, a fan was constantly asking to click a picture with Nagarkoti as he was fielding near the boundary rope. He saw the fan harassing the young fast bowler and he immediately pounced on the fan from the balcony of the dressing room.
In the viral video, the former Indian captain is seen defending his teammate.
“I am constantly asking for a photo. I have come here with a full day’s leave from my office. So, I am calling up Nagarkoti to at least click a photo with me,” said the fan.
Kohli replied, “He has come here to play the match, not to click photos.”
Nagarkoti is not a part of India’s Test team. He is traveling as a net bowler.
India are all set to take on England for the fifth and final Test match at Edgbaston starting July 1. They will also play three ODIs and three T20 Internationals. Earlier, India will also play a 2-match T20I series against Ireland on June 26 and June 28.
