Watch: Uttarakhand government’s push for Uniform Civil Code started political turmoil

The Uttarakhand government has constituted a panel of experts, headed by a retired Supreme Court judge, to implement the Uniform Civil Code for the state. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “This is to provide uniformity to all religious communities and to preserve the culture of Devbhoomi.”
