The trailer of Malayalam film publication Parakkate was released on 11 June. Directed by Shahad Nilambur, the film stars Mathew Thomas, Dhyan Srinivasan, Aju Varghese and Dilesh Pothan in lead roles. Other actors who were roped in for Prakashan Parakkate include Nisha Sarang and Sreejith Ravi. At a time when regional cinema is largely opting for action pan-India films like RRR and KGF, the Malayalam film industry is leaning towards comedy entertainers.

It is full of emotion from comedy to romance. The trailer introduces a few characters from the film, one of whom is a very tense family man played by Dilish, who finds it difficult to make ends meet. The second character unveiled in the trailer is played by Thomas, who is seen as a hopeless romantic. Characters played by Aju Varghese, Dhyan Srinivasan and Saiju Kurup were also introduced in the film.

Prakashan appears to be following the format of Parakkatte Thomas’s previous superhit film Joe and Joe. Although the publication Parakkete is a bit more on the emotional side of the story, which we can guess from the trailer. For all the right reasons, the audience’s expectation from the Shahad directorial is quite high.
While Shaan Rahman will compose the music, the lyrics of the songs in Prakashan Parakkate are penned by Manu Manjeet and BK Harinarayan. Editing was conducted by Rathin Radhakrishnan. The film will hit the theaters on June 17, so fans just have to control their excitement for a few days.
